Had a simliar experience at Nordstrom once (women's half-yearly shoe sale) where seriously, the woman refused to give us the right shoe. I finally gave in and gave up my left one (but only after they ordered the pair from another store from me.) And yes, they were red patent leather shoes. I just like to think I took the high road in that story..................haha.
