Mixed Matches (Say That Three Times.)

I hate making decisions.  Which is why I wore two different pairs of shoes with this dress.  Maybe it's Mix and Match, or maybe it's I Change My Mind Like I Change My Shoes Day.  The only things I could agree upon were my dress, my jacket and my hair (and my hair really had no other options.)

Sunnies: Target
Dress: F21
Jacket: Old Navy
Shoes: Kohls
Necklace: George (that's right, from Wal-mart.)

p.s. I like my mix-and-matches to be subtle, not blaringly obvious (yes, I do make up my own words.)  I'm afraid the in-your-face mix-and-matches are the ones that make me feel like I'm trying too hard.  Just sayin'.

Great outfit! I like the first shoes a little better, they give "visual weight" to balance the jacket and they just look sharp ^^

I really like this outfit, and I think I like it better with the first pair of shoes.

Thanks......I'm assuming the first pair are the high heel lace up boots?

Ahhh! What?! Polka dots and camo, totally blows my mind, man. You are adorable! Love the mix of sweet with tough. Love the boots for the same reason. Is that F21 dress a recent purchase? I must have it.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE this mix! The army print is an unexpected one for this challenge (most of what Ive seen are stripes and florals) and it looks awesome against the polka dots. And those boots! I adore your style

OMG!!! i'm wearing the same jacket for my print mixing. great minds think alike :) and you have totally inspired me to wear the fatigue print with a girly dress next.

btw what do you do with the ties on the jacket? mind never seem to stay in place and wind up just hanging...

I so, so regret not snapping up that jacket at Old Navy. I love what you did - it looks fantastical.

Haha, I figure if I ever decide I don't want the camo jacket, I will put it in the playroom as a costume for the boys.

Thanks! I love these boots!

Haha, that's great! I just knotted them so they wouldn't hang down or show. I'm considering trimming them shorter, though. I just hate to do it, although I can't foresee a time that I will ever wish I had such long strings!!

Are they not available anymore? It stays on my mind forever when I regret not picking something up.......especially when I go back and it's GONE!

Love the dress, but it is even better when paired with that camo jacket from Old Navy. Another EBEW blogger paired the same jacket - so much fun to see it work in two totally different ways. - Katy

Thanks! I know, I saw the other blogger with the jacket. It's always great to see how other's choose to style the clothes I have. Another blogger styled her maxi skirt (that I have) with a red belt and I think I might have to try it that way! I love the ideas and inspirations that can be found out there in the bloggy-blog world :)
